Itinerary
Day 1. Athens
Our friendly staff will transfer you to your hotel.
Day 2. Athens
Morning half day sightseeing tour of Athens includes visit to the Acropolis. Balance of day at leisure.
Day 3. Athens-Aegina-Poros-Hydra
Morning transfer to the pier Piraeus, to embark your cruise ship for your full day cruise to the islands of Aegina-Poros-Hydra. Disembark in Aegina and transfer to hotel.
Day 4. Aegina
Aegina, the largest of the Saronic Islands and 1rst capital of modern Greece has enjoyed a very dynamic past and a rich and vibrant present articulated beautifully through its wonderful Pistachio Groves. We highly recommend to visit the Church of Saint Nectarios which is a beautiful example of classic Byzantine architecture housing the Saint’s silver carved tomb as well as relics for his everyday life. Also the temple of Afaia which sits majestically located upon a forested hill and offers a magnificent view of the Argosaronic Gulf.
Day 5. Poros – Hydra
Transfer to the port to embark cruise to Poros and Hydra islands. Disembark in Hydra and transfer to your hotel.
Day 6. Hydra
A favorite retreat of the international jet-set Hydra maintains its rare blend of enduring ethnic heritage and graceful cosmopolitan panache which single it out as one of the last unspoiled jewels of traditional Mediterranean allure offering its visitors a unique glimpse of the living past. Dedicated to pedestrians Hydra is a perfect place to relax and enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets in Greece, visit one of the cozy coffee shops on the waterfront, spend time shopping for the “perfect” gift or explore the narrow cobbled streets on foot or by the island’s traditional “vehicle”: the saddled donkey!
Day 7. Hydra – Athens
Transfer to the port to embark and continue cruise back to Piraeus,Athens. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 8. Athens – Airport
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
